When you submit your information through our platform, we transmit that information to Network Partners who may be interested in reviewing your loan request and potentially offering you a loan product. Network Partners compensate CashLoansExpress for these referrals, which means that under the broad CCPA definition, this transmission of your information to Network Partners may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.

It is important to understand that we only share your information with Network Partners for the purpose of matching you with potential loan providers, which is the core service that you are requesting when you use our platform.

Categories of Personal Information That May Be Sold or Shared

When you use CashLoansExpress’s services, we may sell or share the following categories of personal information to Network Partners and other third parties:

• Identifiers: Your name, postal address, email address, telephone numbers, Social Security number, driver’s license number and issuing state, date of birth, and other similar identifiers.
• Financial Information: Your bank account information including bank name, routing number, and account number, income and employment information, payment information, and other financial data you provide in your loan request.
• Commercial Information: Information about your loan request including the loan amount requested, loan purpose, and related transaction information.
• Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: Device identifiers, browser information, IP address, operating system details, and other technical information collected automatically when you access our platform.
• Professional or Employment-Related Information: Your employer name, job title, employment status, length of employment, income amount and frequency, and other employment details you provide.
• Inferences: Inferences drawn from the information described above that may be used to create a profile reflecting your preferences, characteristics, or behavior as they relate to loan products and financial services.

Categories of Third Parties to Whom Information May Be Sold or Shared

We may sell or share the categories of personal information described above to the following categories of third parties:

• Network Partners: Direct lenders, loan matching platforms, intermediary facilitators, and other financial service providers who may review your loan request and potentially offer loan products or related services.
• Service Providers and Contractors: Third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including fraud prevention and security service providers, technology and infrastructure providers, identity verification service providers, customer service providers, and data analytics providers.

We do not sell or share your personal information to data brokers for purposes unrelated to the loan matching service you requested. We do not sell the personal information of consumers we know are under 16 years of age.

How to Opt Out of the Sale or Sharing of Your Personal Information

California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information at any time.

Important Notice: If you opt out of the sale of your personal information, please be aware that we may be unable to connect you with loan products or services through our Network Partners. If you wish to opt back in, simply resubmit your request indicating your preference to allow the sale of your information for service delivery.

If you wish to opt out, you may do so by:

• Submitting a Request Online: Complete the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” request form on our website.
• Sending an Email: Send an email to info@cashloansexpress.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell My Personal Information Request” and include your full name, email address, telephone number, and mailing address so we can verify your identity and process your request.
• Mailing a Written Request: Send a written request to CashLoansExpress at 700 Maine Street, Suite 3, Bangor, ME 04401, with “Do Not Sell My Personal Information Request” clearly marked on the envelope.

When you submit an opt-out request, we will need to verify your identity to ensure we are processing the request for the correct person.

Processing Your Opt-Out Request

Once we receive your opt-out request and verify your identity, we will process your request as follows:

• Timeframe: We will confirm receipt of your request within ten business days and will complete processing of your request within fifteen business days from the date we receive it, unless we notify you that we need additional time.
• Effect of Opt-Out: If your opt-out request is approved, we will stop selling or sharing your personal information going forward from the date your request is processed. Your opt-out request will not affect any sale or sharing of your personal information that occurred before we processed your request.
• Future Requests: If you opt out and later change your mind, you may opt back in to allow the sale or sharing of your personal information by contacting us using the same methods described above.

No Discrimination for Exercising Your Rights

CashLoansExpress will not discriminate against you for exercising your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices or rates, provide you with a different level or quality of goods or services, or suggest that you will receive different treatment, solely because you exercised your opt-out rights.

However, as explained above, opting out may prevent us from being able to provide our loan matching services to you because the transmission of your information to Network Partners is the core function of our service.

Authorized Agents

California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit opt-out requests on their behalf. If you wish to use an authorized agent, the agent must provide proof that you authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may require you to verify your own identity directly with us and confirm that you provided the agent permission to submit the request.

Additional California Privacy Rights

In addition to the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information described on this page, California residents have other privacy rights under CCPA including:

• Right to Know: The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you.
• Right to Delete: The right to request deletion of your personal information.
